-high turnover -lack of effective and open communication -a significant culture of gossip and negative talk about current and former employees from all levels (including management) -employees aren’t trusted even if they’ve never given reason not to. Unfortunately, only longterm employees inadequate at their roles are trusted -flexibility for few and not all -micromanagement and constantly being watched -employees will go directly to management without addressing their coworkers first -workload isn’t consistent and when there’s a lack of work it leads to reduced hours -management does not create a safe space for employees to voice concerns or feedback -no direct line between HR and employees
