Pros

- Provides a paycheck, although you can make more as a greeter at Walmart.

Cons

- Owner thinks lab is top notch, but in reality lab is a run down shell of its former self. - Pay is lower than what you could make at a gas station. - Benefits are horrible, if you can get them - Owner nickel and dimes everyone and everything. - Turnover is close to 80% - Facilities and instruments are old and mostly broken. - Owner and wife drive a Mercedes and BMW while supplies can't be purchased. - OSHA has visited due to multiple safety complaints. - When people leave they are not being replaced and more work falls on others. This causes extreme low morale. - Owner is completely out of touch with reality of laboratory operations and reputation of business. - Owner pits people against each other. - Owner thinks he is respected, but is actually the punchline. - Home grown LIMS system called Khemia Omega is the least user friendly, most convoluted, Windows 95 looking system. Any other LIMS system would be a major upgrade.
