Pros

An amazing work environment with wonderful members of staff wherever you look. The company is very supportive of their employees and freelance workers alike. Whenever I had a question or query concerning my work load, availability, or even a personal matter, there was always someone at RTO ready to help me through any issue. I cannot recommend working for RTO enough.

Cons

As with all work from home jobs there can occasionally be communication issues, but thankfully everyone at RTO is understanding and professional enough to work past any potential communication issue that may arise.

Pros

Working from home is good. Nice colleagues when you meet up. Laptop and monitor supplied.

Cons

You have to write training courses for subjects you have no knowledge on, and you're not provided with any reliable training, you just Google it. Speed is a focus, rather than quality. They won't invest in proper research materials for the staff. You're forced to be self employed, but they expect you to behave like an employee, i.e. set hours, compulsory meetings (which are called randomly, when they fancy it). If you want to reduce your hours if you were on maternity, or needed to take sick days they see it as a weakness and will get ride of you with no notice (as you're not employed, they don't need to give notice). They get through a lot of staff. The owners are nice at first, but they randomly turn on you if they have a bad sales period and are looking for someone to blame. Have also witnessed the owners being openly racist about their Asian customers. Poorly paid, as they expect a degree education but starting pay is now what a supermarket worker gets. Also, there is no opportunity for progression, as unless the one manager leaves, there is no other job progression.
