Pros

Flexible hours, not micromanaged at all, bonus opportunities, clients, colleagues, segway into the Pilates industry. If you’re a part-timer who wants to break into this industry this is a very feasible way to do it. It also feels like I can work as much or as little as I want due to high demand for sub requests

Cons

No manager, no one knows if I’m even teaching Pilates or not

Pros

Great support by the teams - GM and AGM Talent and Development team is so willing to help others

Cons

I would not say anything - people need to go to work and stop complaining about instructing - this is the easiest job to be an instructor and instructors have no idea how easy they have it!

Pros

Got my foot in the door as an instructor

Cons

6 weeks of training in an industry that typically calls for a minimum of 500 hours to even teach. They’d never admit to being prejudiced, but if you know, you know. Leadership that plays favorites. Easily threatened by strong personalities. If you’re not a kissing up to the right people, you’re on the outs. If you speak truth about abuse by other instructors, you’re placing a target on your back. Tries to have you sign contracts to make it a fireable offense to communicate with former employees wronged by ownership. Lying leadership. Lying ownership. They’re a mediocre, bland, tasteless bunch. And if HR is in on the gossip, you know you’re in the bad place.
