Pros

If there are no upcoming exhibitions, the work arrangement is quite good. The company offers a hybrid setup with more WFH days compared to many other companies.

Cons

While the work arrangement is generally good outside of exhibition periods, the workload increases SIGNIFICANTLY when exhibitions are approaching. Although employees are not formally required to work overtime, there is a strong OT culture within the company. During the lead up to exhibitions, it is common for employees to stay in the office well beyond official working hours (9 AM to 6 PM), with some remaining until 11 PM to prepare for upcoming events. There is no overtime pay for these additional hours. During exhibition days, staff are required to be on site at the venue for extended periods. A typical day may start as early as 7 AM and end after 8 PM, resulting in 12+ hour workdays without overtime compensation. Long hours during exhibition periods are generally considered the norm, and employees are often expected to repeat the same schedule over consecutive days. The company has a high turnover rate, low pay, a stressful work environment, and heavy workloads. Most younger employees are on contract positions. Unless you hold a senior management or director level position, be prepared for LOW salary.

Pros

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Cons

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
