Pros

Ramp employs some of the smartest people on the face of the earth - but the best part is that those people are actually a joy to work with. They're humble and friendly and collaborative, eager to share credit and take blame, and hanging out with them is genuinely fun. In terms of culture, Ramp prides itself on first-principles thinking but also blazingly fast execution. They like to say that quality and speed don't have to be traded off against each other, which is hard to believe until you see them do it. The rapid pace of growth means that there are always tons of opportunities opening up, and so people can get new responsibilities very quickly. Senior leadership steers the ship with a steady hand: they're second-time founders and know how to scale the org smoothly. The ethos of savings and preventing waste permeates everyone's thinking, so that no matter how much they raise you know it's not going to be wasted on a splashy acquisition or growth-at-all-costs marketing. Best job I've ever had, by a mile.

Cons

It's a lot more intense than a job at a big tech firm - it's a startup, that shouldn't come as surprise - but still, if you just want steady employment or a job where everything's laid out for you in advance, you'll have a tough time here. You certainly won't hear people constantly pontificating about work-life balance; indeed the term rarely comes up. Of course, it's still a lot less intense than investment banking or jobs like that - your nights and weekends and childcare responsibilities and PTO are respected, and nobody cares about facetime as long as you get the job done.

Pros

Amazing place to work you will learn and learn inside of a beautiful environment.

Cons

Great product ever growing high demands on the sales team with high expectations that could cause burnout.

Pros

Ramp is a special place. You're handed the keys to things and given a ton of room for experimentation. They're not afraid to spend money and it's a special place to be right The people are super driven, talented, and ready to help.

Cons

It is without a doubt a demanding workplace and there were times it was difficult to manage. I often felt overwhelmed. It's also a volatile place, with people pushed out and little said about it. There's a "never good enough" mentality from leadership that can be draining.
