Pros

Lot's of freedom and autonomy for good performers. Decent pay and bonus program. Fairly flexible schedule, depending on your manager. Culture is still strong enough to act like an immune system that ejects bad fits! This is an amazing company that has accomplished amazing things, and will undoubtedly continue to do so. Very few barriers between people or departments - you can count on anyone for help if you're willing to ask for it.

Cons

Very poor communication from top management - there's an assumption that everyone should understand the goals and direction. This is particularly evident in recent massive hiring, where new employees are clearly baffled by the messaging and finding it hard to fit in. Opportunities for advancement really only available to the ambitious, who usually don't work out after promotion. This place is tough but worth it, but more effort is needed so people learn how to handle the unique environment. Many of us could get ahead a lot more with some genuine mentorship, and would become the best ambassadors ever seen.

Pros

If you want a job that you shouldn't try hard because they are still going to give you the same review as the rest because management doesn't really pay attention. It's a favoritism game. Management pays more attention to the bad employees, and praises them when they do the bare minimum. If you want to get noticed just barely do your job and mess up a bunch. After that they will see anything as improvement. Also any small mistakes are scrutinized and immediately reported to management and if they don't like you they will make your work experience terrible.

Cons

Management treats bad workers better than good ones. Bad workers get the same pay as the good ones because management isnt paying attention as long as things are going well and they admit it too. If they know you will work for less they will take advantage of that. When it is busy they will sacrifice their employees mental and physical health for the customers experience. They use their policy of taking accountability for your actions as an excuse for their own poor communication and a reason to kick you out of their group without actually saying they are kicking you out of their group and don't bother trying to do better after that it's not worth it.
