Capricious micromanagement - Gun Loader Ranger Energy Services Employee Review

Pros

-Plenty of hours to work -Depending on position, can use company truck to/from work.

Cons

-The tools we had were scavenged, and even those were often stolen if not hidden well. -Unclear, capricious communication; example being told to dispose of tools and items by one manager and then another manager contradicts the order. Too much micromanagement from too many sources. -No bonus pay; you would have to work twice the hours to make the same pay at nearby competitors. -Lied verbally constantly, namely about talking about wages in the workplace. When pressed about this, they said it was just to prevent workplace friction, even though employees wouldn't feel the need to talk about it in the first place if they were being paid competitively. Williston is a small town, and competitors' employees are all friends that have worked together before, so wages are well-known and discussed.
