Pros

There are some people who care about the work they do.

Cons

The owner engaged in some very shady and questionable things. Including not making us, but implying that we break work regulations to work unpaid overtime, I must stress this was never formally requested. But heavily implied that if we did not comply, your employment may be threatened. I genuinely didn't think things could be so dodgy from a seemingly successful company. But this is all surface level, the company has some deep problems both from a business outlook point of view, the way they treat their staff, and the weird working environment in there. I would just seriously consider your options before working here and try if you can to find something better. The progression is very limited, salary renewal meetings are not a thing and a lot of the way the business is run is based upon the owners feelings, both in your salary, the way the business is run and the atmosphere around. They are rapidly outsourcing to Kenya at the moment, I did over hear the owner talking about how great it was that he could pay Kenyans a lot less than British people, while that's true from an economic point a view, for me thats not a great environment to be around, where the main focus is getting labour as cheap as possible.

Hi Thank you for your feedback. Whilst I don't necessarily agree with a lot of what you have said, I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would like to add that our Kenya team is a highly talented, high functioning, valued part of our business that will expand and flourish as the company grows. The fact we have a team in Kenya does not negate the fact we will continue to employ people in the UK. Thank you again for your review. All the best Paul

Pros

Reasonable working hours Great colleagues who help out however they can, both the UKA and Kenya group

Cons

Non existent medical cover offered in your contract which you are to get after a year of working there No proper structure in some departments as some teams rely on themselves wholly with no leadership to bridge the gap to management and guide them Products being sold are not available and there are delays on getting them hence need to lie to customers who have already paid

Pros

Supportive team culture with collaborative colleagues who make work enjoyable. Commission opportunities incentivize strong performance.

Cons

Workload peaks are intense, especially during seasonal rushes. Limited career progression unless roles open up in management. Base salary could be more competitive compared to industry standards. Communication gaps between departments sometimes cause delays.
