Pros
If you want to be used rough and put away wet, here's the place. The company does have a strong "family culture" if you don't have a family/life outside of your work and don't want to build a career and are okay with below average pay throughout the building. You have stumbled across the right company.
Cons
Management or there for the lack of management, and that's in ALL department company wide. Sh*t as they say trickles down the leg and your career path here takes the same route down managements pant leg. The company will hire outsourced employment for management or higher up positions before giving current employees the opportunity or even the knowledge that the position has opened. Multiple employees in the building that have worked for the company since day one (4+ years) and have nearly nothing to show for it. "This is that company that when interviewed by magazines say "Our employees are like family. To us, they're number one, and we couldn't do this without them." It's not a bad to have some of the same feeling at work as you do to your family. But it's also the easiest way for a company to violate every boundary with inappropriate amounts of commitment and loyalty asked of you. "Family" will be used on a weekly basis.
