Working with administrators that allow the staff to disrespect you and make their own rules. The administrators in the CLR department care more about making things convenient for the staff than how it will impact the individuals lives. You deal with staff stealing the patients food and when you report it the administrators do nothing. Some of the staff that works in some of the homes never take the individuals out on outings in the community and administrators know. The only time a problem is looked into is if the individuals have family. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time unless you want to end your career in healthcare fast. The administrators in the CLR department value seniority employees that have been there 17 years rather than the managers they hire. If you report a problem regarding the staff they come after you and start critiquing your work. They don't want someone who will change the individuals lives for the better, they want a person who will shut up and do the paperwork They need to turn into dhs so they can keep getting those checks from the government. Please don't challenge authority something you know is unethical or you will just put a mark on your back. Promotions you are not eligible if they know you have a degree and no better than the nonscene CLR administrators feed you all while being rude every time they talk to you.
