Pros

Company leadership stays in Berlin, you don't have to see your boss on a daily basis if you're based elsewhere. The non-management personnel are wonderful and good to have around regardless of geo location.

Cons

Where to start... 80% of managers/"leadership roles" in this company have no experience in their field. The sheer lack of knowledge and guidance is baffling. The COO couldn't define lean management if his job depended on it. The CEO is incapable of making sound decisions and has the company laying off workers left and right while hundreds of thousands of dollars are wasted on superfluous surcharges. Compensation adjustments are promised, but never delivered (save for brown nosers). You can expect a promotion with more responsibilities, but you will only receive a salary increase every two years. Razor Group significantly underpays their employees for the work that is expected to be done. Management is also hostile for the most part. Do not expect a "thank you" or other accolade. You could save the company $30k or $300k and not even receive a gift card or pat on the back for your hard work. Lots of layoffs. A few people either leave or are fired once a month. Six months after my start date, all three of the people who hired me were let go by the company.

Thank you for taking time to express your thoughts, we find it unfortunate this is the first time we hear of your concerns. We also prefer such feedback to be shared in a non-offensive manner regarding the competencies of our management. Regarding salary increases, we have promotion cycles in place that happen every 6 months. We implement such promotion and feedback cycles to ensure everyone is adequately reviewed and acknowledged. Moreover, layovers are not a planned cadence, and we do not want to see our employees leave. Our company has evolved greatly given our acquisition and integration. Unfortunately, from a business perspective this means we did have to undergo layoffs as restructures occur. We are sorry you felt misaligned with our management. With a new Co-CEO aboard and continuous internal development, we have even greater strengthened our management moving forward. Please feel free to reach out to team-people@razor-group.com to share additional information. Best, Your People Team

It was clear what was expected from you and all the tools were provided to do a great job. Culture and the employees were great.

Cons

It was a start up, so many things were changing every few weeks. Comes with the territory though!
