The job has completely changed over the past few months. It went from an in person outside sales role to an SDR role. You are now expected to sit in your room and cold call all day and sell over the phone. You can get some deals at the beginning but after a few months they will raise your quota to an unattainable level then when you don't hit it you get put on a plan. Oh, also the product is terrible and doesn't work. I spent countless hours trying to help customers with tech issues when I wanted to be out getting more deals. A lot of them will cancel their services with Rectangle. I think I had around 6 accounts cancel during the 8 months I was there. They realize the software has way too many issues and doesn't work half the time so they cancel. This job is good for someone who has never done sales and wants to gain experience. Just know you will not last a year. Practically no one does.
