      Pros

      You get to see data for projects, so you can get exposed to a lot of other sides of the business. This is the only pro you get. Every now and again, Redx Pharma will buy you a cake for a meeting. This is presumably to detract from the awful salary. The current lab space is well equipped, but so is the rest of Alderley Park.

      Cons

      The salary is well below the industry standard. The team are stubborn, and the management is appalling. Funding is unsteady, meaning job security is non-existent. Don't expect to join a team. Expect to join a collection of individual employees. No career progression available, expect to pick up additional responsibilities for no extra pay or recognition.

      Pros

      Biology lab teams were well organised and everyone worked together well, Socially it was a very nice environment to work in.

      Cons

      Opportunities to develop and progress seemed to be based on luck of which project you ended up on. Largely favoured towards people who had been there a long time, prior experience didn't seem to matter much, As with many small biotechs, the company is challenged financially and this impacts progression and development both scientifically and personally for staff.

      Pros

      Nice place to work, good team atmosphere, flexible working hours, good opportunities for learning and development (have to push a little bit though), healthcare membership, interesting science

      Cons

      Unstable, senior management could be more sensitive, not much structure (can be a pro for people who don't like restrictions/red tape)
