Pros

Smart people. Relatively solid opportunity for pursuing career opportunities that aren't in your pre-determined career path.

Cons

For a company of such a relatively small size (under 100 people), the lack of communication is truly mind-boggling. Nobody knows what's going on where, departments are in flat-out war, people are miserable. Every few months there is a mass exodus of employees. This company is flailing and barely keeping its head above water. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Pros

Relay42 is a great place to work. Everyone is great and supportive, and they make you feel part of the team from the very beginning. As for the internship itself, you learn a lot about privacy and compliance as you are involved in different tasks from the beginning which helps you to understand how everything works in practice. Also, you often get to interact with people from different departments which makes everything much more interesting. All in all, a very positive experience!

Cons

The only con I can think of is that it is not always clear whether there will be opportunities to stay or not once the internship is over. But even then they are transparent about it and willing to help.
