Pros

- Remote first environment + flexible work policies (lots of working parents here) - Global reach, awesome tech, small team, big impact - Truly EXCELLENT coworkers: friendly, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about supporting clients and the team - Google Workspace environment + top notch tech stack (Sorry MS Teams, but I'll never go back!)

Cons

I’ve been at Relocity through some pretty big swings; layoffs, shifting priorities, and a lot of ups and downs tied to the broader economy. We feel market changes more than most, so this isn’t always a steady-state environment. Some days can feel like “hold onto your hat.” I’ve been at Relocity through some pretty big swings; layoffs, shifting priorities, and a lot of ups and downs tied to the broader economy. We feel market changes more than most, so this isn’t always a steady-state environment. Some days can feel like “hold onto your hat.” Business cycles are just that… cyclical. I’ve noticed that if you can make it through the tougher seasons, you usually get to see the payoff during the stronger ones. Relocity is still a global tech brand, just a smaller one working through some challenges - and that comes with both risk and opportunity. My experience: the ambiguity can be stressful at times, but it also forces fast learning. You end up jumping in, figuring things out as you go, sometimes messing up, and then getting better because of it. For me, that’s led to growth. It can feel like a pressure cooker, but for people who want to stretch quickly, the juice can be worth the squeeze. On the practical side, the flexibility has been a real positive for me, especially as a working parent. And I’ve seen internal movement happen — including in my own case — so the growth paths are there, even if they don’t follow a traditional roadmap. Overall, my experience has been positive, but it truly depends on the person. If you want predictability and calm, this might not feel like the right fit depending on what team you're on. If you can handle change and like having room to run, there’s a lot here that can work in your favor.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review. We truly appreciate the care you put into reflecting on your experience and the balanced way you described both the opportunities and realities of working in a dynamic environment like ours. It means a lot to see your recognition of the people at Relocity. The supportive, hardworking, and passionate colleagues you mentioned are truly the heart of what makes the company special. We’re also glad to hear that the flexibility of our remote-first environment has been meaningful for you, particularly as a working parent, and that you’ve experienced opportunities for internal growth along the way. We also appreciate your comments about our technology environment. Continuing to invest in strong tools, a modern tech stack, and the development of our own global mobility platform is an important part of how we support our teams and deliver great experiences for our clients. Your “hold onto your hat” description captured well the reality of working in a fast-moving industry that can feel broader market cycles. While that can sometimes create moments of uncertainty, we continue working to learn, adapt, and build a resilient organization where people can grow and have real impact. Thank you again for the time and thought you put into sharing your experience, and for your encouragement for leadership to keep listening to employee feedback. That commitment to continuous improvement is something we take seriously.
