Innovative Product Needed in the Vacation Rental Space - Manager Rented.com Employee Review

Everyone is valued here and it is clear in the way we operate day to day. It is a very casual yet ambitious atmosphere which is a hard thing to balance but we manage to do it well thus far. Everyone has a tremendous opportunity to grow both personally and professionally here and we invest in that growth. With our product, we don't make money unless our partner clients are making money so it is easy to align with the product we are offering. Our big picture goal is to use existing assets more efficiently thus creating less need to overproduce underutilized products which has a tremendous positive impact on the environment so it is also easy to connect to our vision. We are focused on vacation rentals now which is a fun space to be in as well.

I haven't experienced any to date.

I've been at rented for about 3 years now, and the company has grown a lot in that time. We've transitioned I think from feeling out our role in this market to executing on a specific and very effective strategy. It's a fun place to work, supporting remote workers, and a place that gives you a lot of freedom to do your work as you see best. With that comes the commensurate responsibility of owning the work you do - a great tradeoff, in my opinion. Not a slave shop like some startups can be, you can still have a normal life, which is another big plus in my book. Outstanding team - my favorite team I've been on in my professional career.

It is a startup, so the uncertainty that comes with a startup will be to some extent present.
