I was fortunate to work with some extremely talented local managers and some very talented technicians that cared for their customers.
Cons
Senior leadership has no clear long-term strategy. Priorities change weekly, leading to "sprint" burnouts on projects that are ultimately scraped. Executive team is out if touch with market realities and the day to day challenges of staff. High employee turnover, leading to treading water without reaching any measurable goals.
Upper management constantly overrules experienced local management. They balk at day to day practices but attempt to exert strict control over any decisions. There is zero trust in the teams capabilities, fostering a culture of second guessing and micromanagment.
The Executive team plays favorites, and toxic behavior among senior staff is swept under the rug. Instead of fostering team cohesion, managers take credit for their subordinates hard work, and there is rampant interdepartmental sabotage.
