Pros

There are some really great people who work here. Non-management level and non-BD department employees are extremely nice, cooperative, and friendly. Happy hours and company group activities planned by the culture department are fun and inclusive.

Cons

Management is a huge problem. Very greedy founders, only looking to build the company up to sell it. There is no goal or destination for the business, only to squeeze every last dollar out of every customer (and will actually say that publicly). C level execs are NEVER in the office (or come in late and when asked why late they say "it doesn't matter if I'm late, I'M A CO-FOUNDER!"). Epitome of a 'Hollywood' company. Business Development dept. individuals verbally abuse coworkers (profane words about female employees), display sexual misconduct, send sexually inappropriate images to co-workers, participate in inter-office dating, arrive to work hungover/on drugs regularly, talk poorly about coworkers behind their backs, and have very poor attitudes in general towards the rest of the company. They throw parties on the company's dime, use design and production resources for personal gain, and have zero accountability. When these concerns have been brought to the attention of C level execs, these concerns are brushed off and nothing is done. Their behavior is absolutely affecting other employees at this company, and many have cited the business development team as a reason for their departure from the company. From an actual business standpoint, they are in deep trouble. They operate on a completely credit basis and often owe their vendors hundreds of thousands of dollars at a time. They have an extremely expensive office location and space (an entire floor on the corner of Hollywood/Vine) for no reason whatsoever other than to show-off. The business has plateaued (if not declined) within the last 6 months, and there is no plan for growth or even a business plan. They HEAVILY rely on the celebrity aspect of the business, and they are constantly burning bridges within the industry, both entertainment organizations and vendors. They do not compensate fairly (except C level execs and BD dept.) and do not provide employees with any sort of stock or equity program.

Pros

Probably the best job I ever had right up until it was sold to a bunch of bro dudes that had more VC money than common sense.

Cons

The biggest con was I didn't have any shares of the company when it got sold

Pros

-A few smart, hardworking employees -Flexible, laid-back work environment (although some took the laid-backness to an extreme)

Cons

This company is run like a fraternity. Upper management and a few other employees are made up of a group of close guy friends. Unless you're a part of this inner circle, good luck getting the same amount of respect. There is no sense of trust with upper management. Certain guys in this circle often spend time on YouTube, show up to work hungover, roll into work hours late and head out really early. They are never held accountable for issues brought up by employees, inappropriate behavior, or even for business related mistakes. In the past year, several smart, ambitious, and valuable employees have left because they did not feel their hard work was appreciated. Many women left the company because they were tired of the constant misogynistic comments (or worse). Actually, what's worse is that when almost all female employees brought these issues up with management with concrete examples, management denied that there was any misogyny in the office at all. This company will do anything to make a dollar. I can't think of a single value that these guys have.
