Pros

Resolver used to attract fantastic people. Some of those people are still there. Anyone with a tenure of five years or more will be an exceptional colleague and person.

Cons

Where to start? There is no coherent leadership at Resolver. After the departure of the previous CEO (Will), the new CEO was completely underqualified for the role. Following the Kroll buyout a few years back, Resolver was quickly stripped for parts. Teams were pushed to sell underperforming Kroll tools, and Kroll staff with no software background tried to force square pegs into round holes. The product was completely rebuilt and fragmented. Morale is low, and most of the people who truly contributed to Resolver’s growth and earlier success have since left.

Pros

The way I describe it is that it feels like a tech company during the Internet boom. Except we actually have a product. That people buy. And grown ups running the place. There is a lot of enthusiasm, experimentation, and opportunity at this company. The management team is solid. The talent team cares whether or not we are happy. As I write this I am sitting in Nashville. I am from Austin (and therefore work from home). But I am taking almost a year to travel the US and Canada with full permission, support and even encouragement (working as I go). I'll be seeing our great customers along the way. We really do have amazing customers. I have been working for over 25 years, and I can honestly say this is one of the best companies I have ever worked for. Oh and did I mention that my co-workers rock?

Cons

If you don't like change, this is not the place for you. In the last two years, I have changed bosses four times, roles twice, and areas of responsibility/customer makeup more times than I can count. I thrive on it, but it's not for everyone. And we are still figuring things out, making adjustments but with a constant focus on improving.
