Pros

The opportunity is massive with a founding team who has unparalleled domain expertise. RevenueCat is powering growth & payments in the largest consumer marketplace in history. The company already has tens of thousands of customers and raving fans (including some of the largest apps on the App Store) with a minimal investment in GTM/sales until very recently. The product is incredible and solves a variety of different problems for stakeholders across engineering, product, marketing, and finance. The team is extremely low ego and collaborative. It feels like everyone is bought into and excited about the mission, revenue targets, product roadmap, and shipping new features for our customers. It's also fairly diverse (20+ countries) with a bunch of super smart, eccentric start-up types from all over the world. The business goes above and beyond with transparency for employees; the monthly business reviews, board decks, and even the cap table are all shared. It makes you feel more like an owner vs an employee.

Cons

Full remote has its pros and cons. As someone who has experienced two other Series A & B hypergrowth startups, there is a kind of energy, accountability, and other intangibles you get from being in an office together that are challenging to replace when fully remote. The sales org is transitioning from "pirates to navy," and there is a lot we're still figuring out. I consider this a "pro" as it allows lots of room for creative execution, but it's a con if you are someone used to a well-defined playbook, sales enablement, and supervision. Because we are a fast moving early stage, stuff tends to break. This is pretty normal for the stage but there are definitely days where it feels like everything is on fire, and can be scary if you haven't experienced it before.

Pros

- Transparency from top down - Truly live by "async first" philosophy, not constantly tied up in unnecessary meetings - Global and fully remote - Compensation philosophy

Cons

- Not truly a con, but you absolutely have to pull your weight. If you're not a high performer with a self-driven attitude you will not be here long. - At times the volume of work can be overwhelming, but in my experience that happens with all start-ups.

Pros

Good medical benefits and remote job

Cons

Awful management, terrible WLB and inept management. They are preachy and care about optics more than anything else. I can’t believe they have all 5 star reviews cause the office morale is super low and everyone is looking to jump ship. I highly doubt they’re going to be afloat with the new wave of AI optimized tools in the market with their legacy application
