-Poor planning from upper management, effort focused in wrong areas sometimes -Relatively limited area for networking (Ithaca has Cornell and that's kinda it) -Too attached to certain employees which limits the output of the company

The health benefits were extremely generous, and the retirement benefits were not too terrible either. Also, if you don't mind working quietly doing a tedious task with a podcast or music on, it can be very quiet in a good way.

The company operated in such a disorganized and occasionally clandestine manner that it was demoralizing. Between rounds of surprise lay offs, in person tours unannounced from prospective buyers, weeks of no activity followed by a frenzy of last minute preparation for manufacturing runs, it did feel like I was constantly walking on eggshells.
