Pros
People make the job great. Relaxed and easy going environment as long as assigned work gets completed. The job is relatively easy albeit physically demanding at times. Great compensation (Sunday double time, 15% differential).
Cons
12 hour rotating shifts (2 days then 2 nights) may create difficulties when balancing work/life. Ideas and process improvements that are brought to management may often not be acted upon. Communication is sometimes lacking between different departments and management. Difficult to move between positions.
