Pros
-lots of support from senior management -you can give honest feedback about process changes -people listen when you bring things up -everyone throws their hat in the ring to help out and make things happen -very collaborative environment -free lunch 4x per week -work from home Wednesdays -generous time off policy -work from anywhere in the world month in August -tons of career growth opportunities and career flexibility -travel -lot's of hands on problem solving -the feeling that you're part of something unique & special, and you are helping to build something innovative and fun that is changing the industry.
Cons
If you do enjoy working at startups like I do, then there are zero cons. If you don't though... this isn't the place for you. -lots of moving pieces -very fast paced -you start in the deep end of the pool and hit the ground running Personally, I love this type of environment. If you're someone who prefers a more stable day to day where things aren't constantly changing and you're not building the ship as you sail, then I'd recommend you look somewhere else. You have to love the thrill of getting your hands dirty and being part of building something great if you want to thrive here.
