Stay away - Class A Truck Driver Rist Transport Employee Review

There is never a huge rush or anyone pushing you to get you work done. As long as my work is done right and by the end of the day I havent had any issues. No one has yelled or attempted to belittle me in any way. Work and compensation match.

When management isn't there, allot of things fall thru the cracks and then you find yourself having to step in and help because other people didn't feel like they needed to get their work done.

Plenty of work available, Line haul dispatch great to work with

Linehaul pay is way below industry average. Some terminals are in very poor condition. Dock workers and office staff at some terminals have terrible attitude towards drivers. Verbally abusive "driver manager" who has never even been behind the wheel. Dock crew and office of Altoona Pa terminal wreak of marijuana and have little respect for drivers or their own job. Creates a very hostile and uncomfortable work experience, very glad I've moved on.
