Warehouse lead is the type to walk around in shorts, even in winter while encouraging people to work through breaks, lunches, while sick and even hurt. Taking a sick day or seeking medical assistance is seen as weakness and leads to ridicule and harassment, because as he says "we're built different, right guys???" I worked sick, with a fever because I was new and foolish. On the second day sick, I asked said lead for a helper, which was denied. I got hurt that same day and from that moment on he treated me differently. He stopped giving me rides after work, made passive aggressive comments about and to me, gossiped incessantly about me to anyone who'd listen, both on the shop floor and during off time, and even shared private information about my EI claim that he shouldn't have been party to in the first place. I could go on, but let's just say that despite me having no complaints about my work, I was let go before the end of my probation. I was deemed "not a good fit for the team".
