The first semester I was assigned to teach, my course was dropped due to low enrollment. When I was finally assigned to teach again, my course was given to someone else at the last minute. I was then told there was a very low possibility of getting any more courses in the near future. I had gone through training and started planning the curriculum for two different courses during two different semesters. The week of each course I still did not know the pay rate despite asking multiple times.
