Pros

Huge growth in people skills and customer service Learned skills I can utilize talking to people in numerous settings in life You learn more about running and walking shoes and pronation than you would ever want to know, and you get to help many people with foot and ankle problems and educate and explain to them many interesting facts and improve their quality of life. Local business Freebees from brand representatives

Cons

Minimum wage, no wage increases unless you ask after working there for a while and have a good reason Mentally and physically tiring especially on busy days with a lot of customers Difficult to find covers because of low amount of staff Customers can be very rude and mental health is not a huge priority for the staff other than getting pizza delivered once in a while POS system WiFi /computers are quite slow and frustrating to work with and learn how to use especially for those that have not worked in retail

Pros

Great co-workers, working with people, you learn how to take better care of yourself as a runner or tennis player

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but you have to know how to work with people or at least be willing to learn.
