Pros

The role provides valuable exposure to transportation, logistics, and intermodal operations.

Cons

The workload can be demanding, particularly when dealing with driver availability, scheduling conflicts, and customer issues. At times, resources and staffing levels do not keep pace with operational demands, which can create added stress for employees. Long hours may be required during busy periods, making it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Pros

I had a good experience working at RoadOne IntermodaLogistics. The company maintains a professional environment and gives employees the opportunity to gain real logistics and transportation experience. The team was supportive, and management communicated expectations clearly.

Cons

Can be fast-moving at times.

Pros

Good exposure to the logistics and transportation industry, and there is a lot to learn if you are new to intermodal operations. Some managers do try to help when things get difficult.

Cons

Employees are expected to manage demanding customers, driver issues, and freight delays while also hitting aggressive performance expectations. Support from leadership can be inconsistent, and many problems feel pushed down to operations staff to absorb. There is a strong focus on numbers, but not enough focus on employee development or morale. Turnover seemed higher than it should be.
