There's a general lack of support and encouragement; instead, you'll find plenty of undermining and finger-pointing. -Exploitation of staff. Editors and producers seem more interested in taking advantage of their assistants than mentoring them. -No pay. They expect long hours of hard work but fail to compensate fairly (or at all). -There are better post houses in the city that treat their staff with respect and professionalism.
