Pros

Working at ever changing and highly demanding environment with great minds. Engineering side is state of the art. Ideas are flowing everywhere. It's amazing how they are sustaining these many launches with comparatively much smaller workforce. Peter Beck is the driving force of this company. Adam Spice is the second in command and the financial pillar.

Cons

> Ridiculously low morale company as you are never rewarded for your honest hard work if you are not backed by your superior. Some of the leaders are dangerously discriminative based on many parameters. > Depts like Supply Chain is a nightmare to work with as they command everything from Production to engineering to IT. > They will bring people from outside and not promote legitimate leaders within the company. > Lay offs are rampant and for weird reasons. There have been instances of Directors being fired because a reporting employee did not meet expectations. > NZ office has exits monitored and people are let go if they put less than acceptable hours. > People are lured into this launch company with meagre pay only to get burnt out in months. > HR worships the executives - no matter what they do, they are pretty much untouched. While employees are paid much lower compared to other aerospace companies - executives make fortune. > It's hard wear the false rocket company pride for long as your bank balance pinches you. > Good luck on getting even $10k budget approved as they are never seen as value add if they are not directly launch or space system related > There is fear instilled in everybody coz you can loose your job any moment. Escalations are treated as normal - that says a lot about this place.
