Strong people and great teamwork

No cons in my opinion

It is hard for me to post an "objective" review as I've only been here a short time, but so far, things are fantastic. 1. Product is really solid, simple, and powerful - it really does work as promised, and it really does help make people's lives better. I have worked for similar sized organizations that offer products with big promises and 0 delivery, Rookout is not one of them. 2. Great people, very knowledgeable people. Everyone says this at their organizations, but at Rookout it's really true. The people here are no-nonsense, and unafraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done, which is crucial in this early startup stage where everyone has to wear a lot of hats. 3. Really flexible remote policies and practices - you are not micromanaged and nagged to get your work done - you are treated like an adult, and resources are provided to allow you to get your work done in an effective and efficient manner. Your calendar is kept open and free of bulky administrative meetings. Fantastic work life balance. All in all, so far things are great!

Again, because we are so early stage, and because I've only been here a short time, I can't comment much on this - The only thing I would say is a "con" is just the nature of the stage we're at. There's a lot of trial and error when it comes to processes as we begin to figure out what works and what doesn't. Results can be unpredictable, and it can certainly be a grind at times as well. I think the big difference that makes this so much better than other places I've been is the attitude across the whole team. It really feels like everyone is shooting for the same goal, which makes it easier to get through the harder stuff. This is certainly not the place for someone who is looking for a well defined, already fleshed out sales process - we are learning as we go!
