Pros

Co-workers trying hard despite adversities, good product and service, strong NOC team

Cons

Very little appreciation of employees, directionless, poorly managed marketing team, revolving door for executive team, mediocre benefits, high employee turnover, poorly trained and motivated account managers, too many short-term contract developers with no skin in the game. Company-wide goal-setting and time management are not there. Everything is putting out fires.

The lobby is nice.

Cons

Management is awful, don't know how to manage staff, employees with degrees and years of experience get bypassed for promotions for employees who have Roomlinx as their first I.T. job and no previous I.T.work experience. Employees doing NOC jobs but getting paid Tier1/2 wages. Training is awful, some may want you to do it their way even though there may be several ways to do it. Hyatt should look at the resumes of the employees on file and see the position they are at within the company. Hotel guest paying for crappy internet service, Still using windows XP to manage some of the software. Over priced movies that supposed to be new but aren't. No inventory management ,equipment laying everywhere, more like a warehouse. Meetings do not get everyone involved. They can't keep talented experienced staff. The good ones end up leaving for better opportunities. It won't be long before the company is gone. Hyatt could do better than Roomlinx for internet support.
