Pros
Workload was relatively low and manageable
Cons
The pay was terrible, even for the area. There is a culture of bullying and singling out individuals who do not fit into the clique. This was particularly aimed towards the "nerds" who worked in the technical areas of the business and took the form of dozens of small but intentional comments and actions from many people in the business. My line manager was immediately dismissive towards me and treated me as though I was just out of school in my first job (despite around a decade of experience). More than once I was made to feel uncomfortable by various comments from both peers and management due to not being hetrosexual. Upper management is vain and egotistical with sycophants being promoted and anyone who voices disagreement being subject to rumours and gossip and being made to feel uncomfortable until they leave. I was lucky enough to find a new position (that paid vastly more) and left, I could not recommend this company to anyone in good conscience.
