Pros
Working for Rovos you get to travel all over Southern, Eastern and recently, Western Africa, by train. You learn a lot about yourself as well as of others while there as the company standards are extremely high. Getting to meet people from all over the world is one of the best pros. Once you've been there for a couple of months, the people you work with become like family as you live and work with them day in and out, sometimes for months at a time.
Cons
Long hours, physical hard work, and you are away from home most of the year. Be prepared to work on Christmas and all other public holidays
