I gained a new appreciation for the art of bread baking. The bakery is spotlessly clean and hygiene is a prime mandate for all employees. The various department heads are patient and nurturing towards new hires and will go out of their way to help new hires who are unfamiliar with the the very intricate process of industrial scale specialty bread baking. Back breaking work. Heavy lifting and repetitive motion take its toll quickly. This is not a job for the physically weak. I lasted 7 1/2 hours of my 12 hour shift before I advised my very sympathetic "team leader" that I wanted to quit.
