Pros

Decent place to work. People are very competent. Whenever oil is doing better they will hire newbies to get experience.

Cons

Sole dependency on oil industry. Quick employee turnover. Don't expect to get hired, because everybody already knows how to do their job there.

Pros

Good people to work with and a real sense of camaraderie. Regular work hours and holidays off.

Cons

Management feels disconnected from the employees. Pay is not competitive with other companies for similar positions. Vacation and sick leave policy is stuck in the 80s; other benefits are lacking also. Mission statement and core values are not met at all nor is the any attempt to follow through on them. No room or opportunity for advancement - 'It's who you know' really fits this place. The bottom line feels more important than anything else.
