Pros

Rush Order doesn't lack hard and interesting problems to solve. That's often a common theme in a growing company like Rush Order. But folks in the company are the kind of people you want to surround yourself with. Always supporting and challenging you at the same time. The teams within the company tend to feel more like family. As for the technology, Rush Order is mid-transition of platforms. So, that has added a ton of projects on the priority board. But that's a good thing with all the new things to explore and learn.

Cons

Being over 30 miles outside of San Jose, pay for a programmer doesn't seem as competitive as one might find in the heart of Silicon Valley. I hope that changes over time as the company grows, but I find between the work and the people I work with a worthwhile break from what can be a tiring culture and pace that you otherwise find in the peninsula.

Pros

I have been working at Rush Order for 10+ years and my favorite part of the job is the small-town feeling you get each day. I never dread coming into work because I feel like I am walking into my home with my family every day. Not only is the environment amazing, but the job is constantly changing adding new challenges all of the time. It never gets old or stale. Working for Rush Order for so long you would think I know everything there is to know, but the beauty about Rush Order is the new challenges it brings daily. I am always learning something new!

Cons

While the perk of Rush Order is the small-town feeling, the con is also a small-town problem. Rush Order doesn't offer as competitive wages as other companies in the area.
