Pros
Ryan provides a good platform for starting a career in indirect tax. In my experience pay is competitive with other firms outside of the major metropolitan areas (LA, San Francisco, New York). Also, the opportunity to work with a variety of clients allows one to gain a well versed indirect tax experience. Management recognizes employees requests, and works to try and facilitate requests.
Cons
Overall my experience was positive, but I believe Ryan could improve on work-life balance (have actual PTO), compensation per hours worked (project dependent), and lack of internal cooperation between employees on all levels.
