Growing pains. Be ready to fend for yourself. Little to no feedback. Expectations are not usually made very clear. Long hours are standard/expected. Institutional knowledge is locked up in very few individuals who are in high demand. Not a lot of standardized processes or chains of command across project teams. This is good for team leaders/managers but is difficult for specialists working across multiple teams with different, personalized methods, varied experience and inconsistent expectations.
