Pros

- Working location - Everyday can watch drama unfold. Better than K-Drama - Handful of good colleagues

Cons

- Every month, there will be people resigning or being sack. - Daily scolding/shouting can be heard even though its not our fault. Everyday its working with fear. - Most people shows sulky face everyday (as if people owe them $$). Can't even strike lottery just seeing their faces. - Some PM is totally useless anf tai-chi master. Once project screw up, they blame everyone except them. Too much promises to customer even though things are not fix. Results: RUBBISH when testing at customer site. - Too many project/task for per person and the dateline is ridiculous. S2T testers need to do user guide, test case, test plan, training to customers, go on site for test, data entry, help desk, research, entertain client, even helping to visualise what should happen next in a application flow, etc. So the project is always full of issues. - Govt project done by foreigners and thus do not understand the local govt requirement. Funny messages/sentences or process can be seen. Output: RUBBISH. - Don't make any daily/future plan, because of the ridiculous workload and dateline, any time and almost everyday (including weekend and PH) must work OT (without pay). Even leave or off have to cancel to come back and work. - Want you to work weekend, have no choice but to claim your off, have to wait weeks for "someone" to approve. Moreover they promise full day off for that weekend work but can later change to 1/2 day if they are not satisfied. This also apply leave, it take months for approval. -Benefit? Lots of scolding and work. Work full day on PH eve. No coffee/biscuit, chair broken, no log-in for PC, no company gathering, no stationary provided.

Pros

1. Great place to work if you know how to play politics.

Cons

1. Lost a piece of my soul working for this company for a few years. The people in this company from top to bottom have no idea what they are doing. 2. CEO and higher management is more concerned pushing the blame onto employees than taking it (hint: look at the Glassdoor reviews. They NEVER admit they have any fault. Practically saints.) 3. Always making it a point to squeeze the clients once a contract is signed by over promising and under delivering. For example, they may promise a certain head count but it's really a phantom headcount with people pulled from various projects to make up numbers temporarily to show clients when they ask. The company typically will rig the acceptance tests and deliver a half-baked product with the hidden (though painfully obvious) agenda of making more $$$ through maintenance contracts. 4. All these might actually be endurable if the company actually has any core competency and there is any degree of decent software engineering. But the so-called "engineers" here know nuts about engineering practices. You are paid to delivery on the bare minimum to satisfy the wording of the contract and nothing more. Developing software here is like zombies trying to fix a car with a kitchen sink. This phrase doesn't make sense because nothing in the company makes sense. All the software I have delivery is crap because that's what the management wants and is satisfied with. I can't say anyone in the company is genuinely proud of the work we have produced (nor any of our clients).
