Pros

Flexibility to work from home when needed.

Cons

Unless you love alcohol and LOVE to talk about it and go out to the bar after hours with the co-workers and boss, forget about your chances of ever getting appreciated for all of your hard work, productivity, UNPAID extra hours you work, and all of the sacrifices you do with all the late nights and early mornings to the office! You will NEVER be appreciated or promoted by your manager unless you do this and brown nose and/or butter your manager's biscuits! And if reading this information makes you think of juvenile, high school days where there are cliques and only the popular ones are awarded and then they mistreat the ones who do not choose to confine to their ways with their whispers, dirty looks, and straight up rudeness with no ounce of professionalism, then YES!!!! You are absolutely correct! Please heed my advice and review and apply somewhere else if this is not the scene for you. Even if you try to transfer to another department or get out of the unfortunate predicament of having an AWFUL manager, unless you are fortunate enough to have connections with a higher up person there...you can save yourself that headache and stress as it will NEVER happen. You will be stuck in that misery and continue suffering as you are used as a pawn to do their bidding and whatever is best for them NOT what's best for you! So do NOT buy into the crap they sell you about, "You can grow and be promoted from within as there are ample opportunities!" These are all LIES!!!! They only give those opportunities to the FAVORED ONES!!! I do not know about you, but I would rather work in a place where you are appreciated for all of your hard work and dedication and where raises and promotions are based off of ethical work and not at a place where people who can get away with surfing the internet shopping and stand around all day talking and go out shopping and even sneak out to go home or run their errands when managers are in meetings (which they're in meetings ALL the time by the way) then turn around and talk trash about all of your hard work and dedication while the managers just let them get away with this as they play favorites...count me out! I have witnessed SO MANY occasions where workers will get away with SO many unethical things at work and all because managers favor them. What's even worse is if you're not considered a favorite, managers will SEEK OUT to give you awful reviews as they are NOT there to "help you grow and provide ample opportunities to promote from within" as previously mentioned, ALL LIES!!!! If you think this is not enough to keep you from applying, heads up on their training program...theirs is AWFUL!!! They expect you to dive in and figure things out on your own with minimal training. It's a big joke! I spent countless after hours at home and the office trying to learn and train myself that I regret so much as I was NEVER appreciated for any of it. Also, this company works you to death as they will overload you with a ton of work and deadlines, and you're of course not compensated well. Raises are awful! Unless you are promoted, which I already mentioned is only given to favorites, you can expect all of that slave driving to go down the drain and a waste of your life! Save yourself and DO NOT apply here!

Pros

Fun but professional work environment. First job I don’t wake up and dread going to. Love my teammates and surgeons! The surgeons have a much better mindset here than at the hospital.

Cons

Some “favoritism” goes on, but I think that’s anywhere you work.
