Pros
Company paid benefits. If you can put up with outdated management style you will eventually get promoted based on seniority (no modern skills required).
Cons
Rotating Japanese executives and weak long term USA based management lead to large amounts of turn over in Ohio. Treatment of women by Japanese management is terrible, USA management just allows it to happen. Employees of Japanese origin are afraid to quit or even complain because they fear repercussions by the large network of Ohio based suppliers to Honda and fear that no other company will hire them if they quit.
