Pros

I can't say enough good things about this company, I have been with the company for several years now and always feel supported in and out of the office. I would recommend SHP to anyone in the finance industry looking to make a true difference in people's lives.

Cons

Nothing specific I can think of/worth mentioning.

Pros

Working at SHP has been one of the best moves of my career. I was working for one a Big 5 banks in Boston and thought they were a great company until I found SHP. It is rare these days to find a company where you feel like you can actually see yourself spending your entire career there but that is what I have found. The management is incredible, they truly put the team first and will do anything to support you in life. When I had my baby, they supported me through everything and have always encouraged me to always put my family first. The leadership team constantly tries to improve and is always very open about changes coming down the pipeline. SHP is truly one of the greatest workplaces in our industry and I feel so lucky to be part of this team.

Cons

The only "con" that I can think of is that we handle a lot of business and have very high standards for supporting our clients. Sometimes the workload can be crazy in certain seasons, but the management always makes sure to support and are constantly hiring to fill needs. You have to be a go-getter and willing to put in the hard work, which might not be a great fit for everyone. The nature of a thriving company in our business is that we have to work hard, I love that but not everyone might.
