Pros
Good compensation, bonus, training and opportunities. Good workmates. Your boss can really support you or make your live miserable, however you can be sure you will change bosses every two or three years maximum.
Cons
Cyclical industry with layoffs during downturn. Not many opportunities to grow if you are not willing to have a career abroad. A lot of over hours, meetings off working time and travel time. Low work life balance.
