Expats earn a lot more than locals for doing same tasks, the difference is ridiculously big. Management is terrible, they cut people that work well and get paid less to keep older people, with more experience, but that are clearly not working ideally and get paid a lot. They also preserve only the expats, if the location is bad, transfer the expats and lay off locals. Bottom of line, be an expat!
