Pros

cutting edge technology in RFID world. Manufacturing Plants across the globe. Never ending RFID products with new different types, shapes, performances, frequencies etc introduced in the factories. It leads you to non-boring products which you can see everyday in productions. Improving employees benefits as time goes by. Connect things easily. Some bosses are good but some needs more time to catch up. Employees are close to each other. Nice offices & productions. Foods are subsidized. Some technicians and all engineers above are provided with laptop.

Cons

Top management come and go. Middle management come and go - Probably some kind of office politics. Coaching is not yet a robust culture in Smartrac overall. Too much flattering sometimes. Expecting other people to have a good decision making but they themselves sometime making lame decisions. But anyhow people do make mistake. Not a flexible working hours (8am - 5.30pm office hour). Only Managers and above are exempted from clocking in and out. Double standard parking between managers and staff. Turn over rate is quite high for some departments.

Pros

Good benefits, controlled environment, decent pay. It is a growing business and competition is not terribly fierce yet, so growth is probable.

Cons

"the wall" is a management area of the facility. These people have extremely poor management skills. Actually, it's like they have no management skills and run from emergency to emergency. Some have engineering backgrounds and it is astounding how idiotic and stupid they are. Critical thinking skills are nascent, follow through is very poor, and communication skills are abysmal. When they do communicate it is often incorrect. Yes, factually incorrect.
