      -communication lines are still being established -there can be change in policies as the company grows, not always a bad thing, you just have to keep up

      Pros

      Being a part of a growing company like SMTCL, there are so many opportunities. It's exciting to be part of this growth and have the ability to move up within the organization.

      Cons

      Like any company, there is always room for improvement and I think communication could be improved within departments.

Growth is certainly at the forefront of our business and we rely on a strong partnership with our employees to help us reach the next steps of our goals. We identified during our recent employee experience survey that communication could improve, which is why we've started a comprehensive training program, quarterly company meetings, increased email correspondence, and are looking at our organizational structure to ensure that everyone works together in good communication. We will definitely use your feedback to improve and appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we're doing!

      Pros

      Huge opportunity for employees who are patient--the payoff could be enormous. The company is small but is going to start growing -- fast. Mid level positions have the potential to become leadership roles as soon as that happens. Management seems to be very focused on growth and how to do it the right way; they care about their employees and want to find the best people for the job.

      Cons

      Company can seem slightly disorganized at times; sometimes management looks like they're not sure about next moves.
