You're either insanely micromanaged or you don't hear from anyone at all, then get doc'd for not being active enough -- there's no in-between. Client(s) walk all over the team and management doesn't know how to set boundaries to keep their team members from burnout. Missing team outings is seen as "impressive" rather than prioritizing their overall well-being. Salary is below the industry average, so don't expect to earn what you think you're worth.
