Pros

STEMBoard has been the best company I've been a part of in 15 years of being a gov't contractor. There is a culture of care and camaraderie that has been refreshing and motivating since I joined the team. I would highly recommend accepting a position with STEMBoard if you ever have the opportunity. STEMBoard works hard to ensure its employees are on contract. Even during stretches where there was no contract, STEMBoard retained its employees until it was able to place them. This is extremely rare for a company to do in the Government Contracting space. STEMBoard is very generous with in compensating employees. It also shows it's appreciation to employees with bonuses and incentives. The CEO, Aisha Bowe, makes you feel like family and goes out of her way to make sure you know she cares about your life as a person and employee. I have never felt like JUST a number, but more as a friend who happens to work at the company. She has an amazing vision for the company in both the contracting and educational spaces and offers opportunities to employees to be a part of it.

Pros

STEMBoard has gone of their way to ensure employees are well paid, have great benefits, and can maintain a very healthy work-life balance. They work hard to procure new government contracts and ensure their personnel stay employed. The CEO leads with compassion and makes a point to let staff know that she cares.

Cons

It is difficult to advance in your career if the company does not have contracts that allow such movement. Nothing else of note, it's a great company to work for!

Pros

One of the best things about working for STEMBoard was the engagement from leadership. I was always able to talk and communicate with my leaders and discuss opportunities or issues with them. Furthermore, I always felt heard and respected by my leaders.

Cons

The opportunities can be sometimes limited due to the small nature of the company, but that is changing due to a growing list of contracts.
